By the same owners as the Estancia Don Juan, the Patio Havana offers not only a restaurant but also a cigar shop, bar, lounge, and wine bar. The house specialty is seafood. The seafood pasta and grilled lobster in a butter and lemon sauce are outstanding. However, the Patio Havana menu includes many other options including seven different kinds of carpaccios, excellent salads (almost a meal in themselves) and tasty sandwiches. The kitchen also turns out some great steak dishes. Look for the Filet do pastor, a tender steak stuffed with goat cheese and served with a Dijon mustard sauce. The lounge hosts live music, usually bossa nova, samba, blues, or jazz. Thursday night is salsa night. The music with free dance lesson kicks off at 9:30pm.

Buzios Nightlife

Buzios is a great place to go for nightlife. There are tons of bars, clubs, and restaurants that stay open well into the early morning hours with partiers. Another great thing about the city is that there are tons of visitors all the time, so there is always something going on. The main strip to visit for the nightlife is Rua das Pedras. The street is about 400 meters long, but there are tons of restaurants, bars, and clubs that run along it. The street is always packed with people so there is always somethign to do. Some of the bars and clubs face the ocean, and they give a beautiful view if you can see it. There is also tons of live entertainment. Some of the better bars and clubs worth checking out are Ponto Bar and Captains Bar. Anexo's Bar is a good place to go and relax near the water with some drinks.
Of course, there are far too many bars and clubs to list, but they are all pretty good, even though some are better than others. On any given night, however, some bars will just be more packed than others. It could depend on drink specials, live entertainment, or who is in that bar. After a night of drinking, you can head to Chez Michou, where they serve crepes all night long.

Buzios Day Trips

The main thing that everyone does in Buzios is go to the beach. That is basically what the town is known for. There are over 20 beautiful beaches that stretch across the town's coast, and this is the main attraction that everyone comes for. These are some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and they will definitely be packed in the summer. Of course, even in the spring, winter, and fall, they will attract quite a large crowd. Buzios is actually one of the most expensive places in Brazil, so make sure you bring a lot of money with you. There are also a lot of celebrities who own homes in this town, so expect to see some swarms around the stars. This will also make it a bit harder to get into certain restaurants and bars or clubs. There are some museums and entertaining things to do besides the beach, but there isn't much. In reality, people come here simply to sit out on the sand and relax. You can do some fun water sports while you are on the beach, or make your own excursions, but generally speaking the life of the town revolves around the ocean.
