Lighthouse - it was built in 1855, it is the most cool observatory of the place, and it was already part of the defensive group of the Island for having a wide vision of the roundness. It is a great view. Inside Morro de Sao Paulo: Local Walks
While in Morro de São Paulo, try to climb the hill to the lighthouse. From there you'll get a beautiful view of the village and its beaches. And go also to the old portuguese fortress. Next to it there's an unbelievable natural swimming pool. The paths to both places start near the Portaló, an old stone arch located next to Morro's pier.

Town Nightlife Bar and Restaurants
Town - it is at the town, on top of the hill, where the night begins. She is cut out by only 2 main streets, and for that not even a blind one could get lost there. It has several restaurants, bars, lodgings and all kinds of infrastructure necessary for the tourist. Morro's main street had changed, too. Where there once had been a handful of candlelit restaurants serving fried fish, there were now two dozen, huddled together, stacked on top of each other--creperies and pizzerias with high ceilings and flaming-orange walls; Internet cafés selling art and art galleries offering Internet service; boutiques stocked with crocheted bikinis, diaphanous skirts, and T-shirts that commanded no stress, and beneath, in small letters, morro de são paulo.
